Dorothy (Dorrie) Beckley

LPC, Intern Coordinator and Supervising Therapist

As humans, I believe one of our greatest needs is to be met with kindness and understanding. My intention as a practitioner is to provide a safe and grounded space in which you are seen and deeply respected. I look forward to meeting you to see if we might be a good fit as you begin or continue the journey of coming home to yourself.

As a practitioner I enjoy working with a wide variety of people across the lifespan with different challenges and symptoms. I have specialized training in trauma recovery, complex trauma recovery, and grief integration. I am hesitant to pathologize, and more often tend to view symptoms as natural adaptations and defenses to challenging or unsafe circumstances in one’s developmental environment. Together we can explore these dynamics with curiosity and kindness, and learn skills to meet these moments in new ways so that you experience a greater sense of self, choice, and liberation in your life.

Clinical modalities offered include; Compassionate Bereavement Care. for Traumatic Loss, Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am an AZ board approved clinical supervisor, and I enjoy mentoring graduate level interns and associate level clinicians.
