Erin Meyer

MA Therapist Intern

I believe people heal in the context of connection, and I strive to provide opportunities for clients to practice ways to connect with self and others. I aim to provide a space for clients to feel understood and supported as they explore themselves with compassion, acceptance, and curiosity.

I emphasize a person-centered and strengths-based lens when working with clients. I also use evidence-based techniques tailored to clients’ needs and preferences, including interpersonal therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness strategies. I have clinical interests in attachment, life transitions, grief, loss, emotional regulation, and interpersonal conflicts. I hope clients feel empowered with new ways of thinking, feeling, and behaving to improve their relationship with themselves and their relationships with others. I look forward to collaborating with clients to improve their mental health and overall wellbeing.

I will earn my master's in clinical mental health counseling from Northern Arizona University with the completion of my internship at Cultivate Counseling.
