Rachael Farrier

LMSW, Therapist

My name is Rachael, I am a mixed race Asian American therapist who specializes in working with survivors of domestic, intimate partner, and sexual violence, as well as those experiencing challenges with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, navigating relationships, and racial identity. My extensive experience in the criminal justice system and crisis intervention has deepened my awareness and application of behavioral health resources and trauma informed care. I am LGBTQ+ and culturally affirming. The incredible courage behind asking for help is what drives my passion within this type of work.

My focus is to provide you with the appropriate tools needed to heal from trauma and step into your most authentic self. Through a relational, collaborative, and strengths based approach, I incorporate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Parts Work into my practice.

I am a lifelong learner who is always seeking continued education to provide the most effective, culturally relevant approaches to my practice. It is a great privilege to provide you with a safe space, to meet you where you are in your journey, break generational patterns, and delve into self-discovery. I welcome you with an open mind and an open heart.
