Tracy Malcolmson
LAC, Therapist
My objective in our work is to hold space for you, without condition and without expectation. This enables me to meet you where you are and to spend our time together on a shared frequency, viewing your world through a shared lens. You are the foremost expert on your own life and experience. I am here to offer support, tools, reflection, resources, perspective at times, and most of all, a safe and confidential space devoid of judgment.
I received my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Saint Bonaventure University in New York in 2023. I also hold Bachelors and Masters degrees from the School of Visual Arts in NYC. I have a background in the arts, education, and social work, and have been doing adjacent work for 20 years. I am a culturally diverse individual who has lived abroad and travelled extensively. I have a deep respect for and sensitivity to issues of diversity, oppression, bias, and community. Providing advocacy and support in these areas is very close to my heart.
My way of seeing, understanding, and supporting you as a unique individual or couple is a holistic one. I take a mind, body, spirit approach to therapy and the exploration of modalities that will support the creative and collaborative work we do together. My work incorporates a variety of theoretical orientations. I am fully trained in EMDR and available to provide trauma services. Just a few areas of passion and experience for me are family and relationship struggles, transitions and life-stage challenges, existential, religious, or faith-based trauma, and mood and personality disorders.
